Ibanez AW150CE Overview
Styled in an open pore natural finish, the Ibanez Artwood Series AW150CE is a dreadnought acoustic/electric guitar with a solid sitka spruce top and okoume back and sides. The neck has been constructed out of nyatoh, features a 25.6" scale, and offers a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard. The instrument has chrome die-cast tuners with half-moon knobs, and an ovangkol bridge secures the strings to the body.
The single-cutaway body delivers a full, powerful sound. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band. For electronics, the AW150CE is equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup, as well as an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp, a 2-band EQ, a phase control to fight feedback on stage, and an onboard tuner. This guitar has both 1/4" and balanced XLR outputs, so you don't need a DI box when plugging into a house PA.
